Emergent Game Technologies is celebrating its performance in 2007, in which it saw a 67 per cent increase in sales.
2007 also showed huge global growth for Emergent - something the company told us was a current focus in an interview last year - with 65 per cent growth in Europe and 51 per cent growth in the Asian markets.
Expansion was also seen in the genres in which Gamebryo is being used, including massively-multiplayer online, action titles and casual online games. The company also revealed that 200 games have shipped using Gamebryo and that a further 60 are currently in development.
"As a company focused on being of service to the industry, we've aligned our business with the needs of our customer base. Our success over the past year and feedback from customers have strongly informed and influenced our business roadmap," said Geoffrey Selzer, CEO of Emergent.
