Gamble to share game industry insights to computer games design students

Epic’s Mike Gamble becomes visiting lecturer at Staffordshire University

Epic’s European territory manager Mike Gamble is to run a series of lectures for computer games design students at Staffordshire University.

Through his visiting professorship, Gamble will share insights into the game industry to help students understand what is expected of them when joining a studio or starting their own.

Staffordshire University runs a number of games-related courses, including BSc honours in computer games design, programming, games concept design and games technical art.

“I am really thrilled at being honoured as a visiting professor at Staffordshire given the quality of their courses and the students who graduate from them," said Gamble.

"I am particularly looking forward to sharing my industry and Epic Games experience to help build the students’ knowledge, and prepare them for what to expect and how to succeed in what is a fast-changing and ultra-competitive environment.”
