Brian Jobling promoted to executive chairman at Auto Club Revolution studio

Eutechnyx names Darren Jobling as CEO in leadership shakeup

Darren Jobling has been named the new CEO of Auto Club Revolution developer Eutechnyx as part of a leadership shakeup at the firm.

In his new role, Darren has been given reign to further develop the studio’s publishing activities, as well as drive company growth.

His brother and former CEO and founder Brian Jobling has been appointed as executive chairman, and will work with venture capital partners Prime Ventures and Northstar Ventures. He has been tasked with searching for new technology opportunities for the firm inside and outside of the game industry.

“Eutechnyx has a reputation for identifying and rapidly capitalising on changes in our industry,” said Darren Jobling.

“This strategy has enabled us to lead the way on a number of fronts, including free-to-play publishing and alternative sources of project funding. Eutechnyx is now investing across a diverse portfolio including console, mobile, tablet, free-to-play and non-games applications for the technology industry. I believe that these initiatives will enable Eutechnyx to maintain our position at the forefront of an industry undergoing a seismic change.”

Brian Jobling added: “I’m incredibly proud to see the company I founded as Zeppelin Games 25 years ago continuing to go from strength-to-strength. My new role, working closely with the board of Eutechnyx and its investment partners, will see my eye turned to emergent technology opportunities inside & outside the games sector. I am looking forward to my new challenge.”
