Eyetronics has revealed plans to expand into Canada, with a Montreal office opening in September this year plus Toronto and Vancouver operations planned for the new year.

The company has previously worked on capturing 3D scans of more than 1,400 baseball players for Sony and 2K titles, and was hired by BioWare to produce scans for the forthcoming Xbox 360 RPG Mass Effect.

"We have a solid client base in Canada and having our new offices in place over the next twelve months in Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver will provide greater service and convenience for our customers," states Nick Tesi, Eyetronic’s vice president of operations.

"And although our systems are extremely mobile and give us the capability to be anywhere in the world within 24 hours or less, the growth of production in Canada demands that we have systems in place at all times.”
