Indies questioning whether or not to release their games on Nintendo’s platforms would do well to attend next week’s Interface, thanks to the latest session confirmed for our live stage.
Interface is a brand new games event from the teams behind Develop and MCV, which aims to bring developers together with publishers to pitch games and potentially forge new partnerships.
During the live stage sessions, Nintendo’s Ed Valiente (pictured) will reveal why it’s easier for indies to get their games on Wii U and 3DS than they might think.
Here’s the official overview:
“Nintendo has enabled indies to self-publish their games for seven years now, but to some the process to release games on Nintendo eShop on the Wii U console and Nintendo 3DS portable system appears shrouded in mystery.
“Ed Valiente, business development manager from Nintendo of Europe, will talk about high-level business policies and walk you through the process step-by-step – from applying to be a developer through to post-launch community support.”
The Interface live stage is presented by Pollen VC.
