Former EA and Criterion exec Pete Hawley has been appointed as vice president and general manager at Zynga.
As reported by PocketGamer, Hawley has previously also held roles as CEO at Red Robot Labs, development director at Sony Computer Entertainment and head of production at Lionhead.
The move is part of a wide-ranging reshuffle of top execs at the company since the appointment of Don Mattrick as CEO in July last year.
Departures during the last year include Zynga’s senior VP of mobile Travis Boatman, head of acquisitions Terence Fung and studio president Steve Chian.
Incoming employees meanwhile include former Best Buy exec David Lee as chief financial and accounting officer, ex-Microsoft exec Alec Garden as president of Zynga Studios and former DeNA West CEO Clive Downie as COO.
