Studio plans to expand MOBA into Asian market

Fractured Space developer raises £850k

Guildford-based Fractured Space developer Edge Case Games has raised £850,000 in funding.

The money will be used to support continued development of the MOBA game, which is expected to come out of Steam Early Access later this year. The studio also aims to expand the title into the Asian market.

The investment round was led by Mercia Technologies, which has previously invested in games such as Soccer Manager.

“Mercia’s investment will boost the development resources available to realise our shared vision for what Fractured Space can become at launch and beyond,” said Edge Case Games CEO James Brooksby.

“We are especially pleased to continue our work with Mercia’s head of digital Mike Hayes, whose experience as former CEO of Sega has made him a highly valuable asset to the team.”
