Connection Events are celebrating the success of last week's Game Connection Europe event in Lyon, which saw industry professionals from 34 countries come together to hold a total of 5900 meetings.
The event brought together developers and service providers to show their wares to interest buyers - be they other developers or publishers.
"As always, I found the event a great success," said Hastan Brooks, business development manager of Universally Speaking. "This is the fifth year our company has attended: the meeting system is a godsend and it is very easy to use. I look forward to the next events."
Mark Rein, VP and co-founder of event sponsor Epic Games, added: "In 2007, I attended Game Connection in Lyon for the first time and I've been hooked ever since. Connection Events has also announced the Game Connection Marketplace, an online service where professionals can post and respond to projects and proposals. Attendees of last week's GC Europe will get six months free access to the site, while those new to the event can get an idea of its workings through the Marketplace.
