This year’s Game Developers Conference is starting to wind down as we approach the final day, but there’s still plenty happening Stateside.
A Microsoft event revealed that console initiatives ID@Xbox and Xbox Live will be expanded to encompass the forthcoming Windows 10, while Xbox boss Phil Spencer acknowledged that the corporation has a lot to make up for when it comes to PC gaming platforms.
Valve showed off the final design of its long-awaited Steam Controller, as well as the prototype of a new VR controller with wand-like devices to simulate hand mvoement.
And the winners were revealed from the week’s two big awards ceremonies: Game Developers Choice Awards and the Independent Games Festival Awards.
