Ex-Bungie composer Marty O’Donnell has set up his own development studio.

O’Donnell has joined forces with Jaime Griesemer, a former designer from Bungie, and Jared Noftle, co-founder of Murdered: Soul Suspect dev Airtight Games – a studio that sadly closed last year.

The trio’s new studio is called Highwire Games, and was actually set up in Seattle back in 2014, according to VG247. Not much is known about who else is on the team, but the studio is reportedly quite small at present.

“Old dogs, new tricks,” Highwire Games’ website teases.

“Highwire Games is a small team of veteran game developers – with a proven record of creative vision and disciplined, high-quality production – applying our expertise to new platforms, creating new experiences and reaching new audiences.”

Halo composer O’Donnell made headlines last year after a dispute with Bungie over his dismisall from the studio and the removal of his founders’ shares.

He later sued Bungie, with the courts ruling that the Destiny developer was to return O’Donnell’s stock.
