Injustice, Saints Row DLC dev creating 80 new jobs with second office

High Voltage opening New Orleans studio

High Voltage Software plans to open a second studio in New Olreans.

The developer, best known for assisting with the production of titles such as Saints Row, Injustice: Gods Among Us and Mortal Kombat, will be creating 80 new jobs, paying between $50,000 and $120,000 per year, according to local news site Nola.com.

CEO Kerry Ganofsky said the company originally considered setting up a new studio in Georgia or Florida, but decided New Orleans was a better fit culturally. The deal has reportedly been in the works for four years.

High Voltage will benefit from a number of local financial incentives, including a $150,000 performance-based grant to reimburse relocation costs, workforce training programs and a digital media incentive.
