London-based technology start-up has expanded its team with two key new hires.
The studio has recruited Lionhead's Si Jaques, who will head up Improbable's animation team. Jaques spent eight years at Lionhead Studios, where he created animation for Fable II and III, and ended up as animation director for the upcoming Fable Legends.
"I'm really excited to be joining Improbable," he said. "It's great to be part of a new team pushing creativity. I'm really looking forward to being involved and to help shape it from the ground up."
Meanwhile, freelance artist Calum Alexander Watt joins Improbable, having created art for high profile releases such as Halo 4, Batman: Arkham Origins – Blackgate and the recently announced Alien: Isolation.
"I'm thrilled to be joining this fantastic team," said Watt. "I'm very much looking forward to working on the vast and creatively inspiring projects here."
Improbable studio head and former Crytek exec Nick Button-Brown said: "We're delighted to have both Si and Calum joining us. They add their skills to what is shaping up as the perfect team to help us develop the new online gaming experiences that our technology enables."
