Tim Schafer's studio latest developer to receive backing from investment group

Indie Fund backing two Double Fine games

The Indie Fund is backing two new and unannounced Double Fine games, it has announced.

The news that the group would be investing in two games from Tim Schafer’s studio was announced by Kellee Santiago at Horizon.

“I’m really excited and honoured to announce on behalf of Indie Fund that… we will be funding an additional two titles from Double Fine,” said Santiago, as reported by Gamasutra.

Double Fine is currently working on a number of games, including two Kickstarter-backed titles Broken Age and Massive Chalice.

The Indie Fund was set up by a group of independent developers to help provide a source of investment for other indies.

Previous projects backed by the scheme include The Swapper, Dear Esther, Q.U.B.E., Antichamber and Monaco.
