Italian bundle gives indie fans the chance to help Emilia Romagna region

Indie Gala 5 supports earthquake relief

At 4:04 A.M. on the 20th of May, 2012, an earthquake shook the Italian region of Emilia Romagna.

The magnitude 6 tremor killed seven and left thousands homeless, with many unable to return to their badly damaged houses as a relentless stream of aftershocks shake the area.

Enter Indie Gala, the Rome based pay-what-you-want bundle that has just launched its fifth offering in support of relief efforts for earthquake victims.

Indie devotees can contribute to the Italian Red Cross and help fund indie gaming at the same time, with rewards available at the $1.00, $3.99, and $5.99 levels.

All told, the package is a $150.00 value of assorted indie games and music.

Indie Gala operates on a flexible system which allows contributors the chance to decide who gets how much of their money.
