Wim ter Schüren to be responsible for over 60 developers and expanding company's mobile games portfolio

InnoGames appoints new head of game development

Browser games outfit InnoGames has appointed Wim ter Schüren as its new head of game development.

Schüren, who officially joins the company from January 1st, will be responsible for over 60 developers as well as helping to integrate mobile development into the company’s portfolio of games.

He will report directly to InnoGames founder and MD Hendrik Klindworth.

As well as hiring ter Schüren, the studio revealed it is currently developing two unannounced titles, with preparations also underway for a third.

"Furthering cross-platform development in a seamless way at InnoGames will be a challenge that requires innovative technical solutions – which is definitely exciting to me," said ter Schüren.

“InnoGames’ growth is very sustainable and its portfolio caters to a broad user base, while also providing long-term player motivation. That is what convinced me to come on-board.”

Before joining InnoGames, ter Schüren held roles as head of eCommerce development at OTTO and also headed software development at eSailors IT Solutions.
