The new studio run by former Ubisoft producer Jade Raymond is currently recruiting developers for its upcoming Star Wars game.

In a post on the studio’s official blog, Raymond said her team is “looking for passionate developers in all areas” to come and join the Montreal-based outfit.

At the time of writing, there are 27 vacancies at Motive on EA’s Careers site, ranging from environment, lighting and VFX artists to gameplay developers, animators, engine programmers and development directors.

Raymond reports that the Motive Studios team is now up to “65 industry veterans strong, adding more each week”.

“We are well on our way, beginning our journey with a Star Wars game, and exploring ideas for our original IP,” she wrote.

The Assassin’s Creed producer left Ubisoft in 2014, joining the Motive team last summer. While it’s known she is working with Visceral on Amy Hennig’s Star Wars title, little is know about Motive’s project.

Last November, Raymond teases that the studio was working on an “Assassin’s Creed-style” action game, but it’s not clear whether this applies to Motive’s Star Wars game.

With E3 kicking off next week, we could find out very soon.
