Activision Blizzard has announced that mobile giant King, acquired by Activision Blizzard for around $6b last year, will be creating a new development team in Stockholm to create a mobile game based on Call of Duty.

This is the first time Candy Crush developer and mobile monolith King has teamed up with its parent company. When the acquisition was announced back in 2015, King boss Riccardo Zacconi said that there were plans in motion to combine King's mobile and free-to-play experience with already existing Activision Blizzard brands, so this isn't surprising, but it's an interesting first project for the two to pursue.

They're recruiting right now, and you can look here for information on jobs available, the new development teams philosophy, and a photo of a man drawing a lady with a gun.
