Dontnod’s narrative-driven episodic series Life is Strange has sold more than one million copies.

The game’s first episode was released on January 29th earlier this year. It centres around the story of photography senior Max who discovers she has the ability to rewind time. The sales milestone was announced by the studio on Twitter.

The game has received praise from critics and players alike. During last week’s Develop Awards, the studio took home the accolades for New Games IP and Use of Narrative. Games industry peers voted for the winners of each award.

The fourth episode of Life is Strange, Dark Room, is due for release next week on July 28th.
