Decade of business for Molyneux-run studio

Lionhead celebrates tenth birthday

Lionhead is celebrating ten years since its founding back in 1997.

The developer, born after Molyneux left Bullfrog following its acquisition by EA, lived as an independent studio until it was purchased by Microsoft earlier last year.

In the space of ten years, Lionhead has created the popular original IPs Black & White, Fable and The Movies, and is currently working on Fable 2.

“This is a very exciting time for us,” said Peter Molyneux, managing director of Lionhead Studios.

“Ten years in this industry is no small feat. We have a great team that is committed to pushing the limits of what we can do with today’s technology; ten years and counting.”
