Organisers hope to enhance connections between east and west

Login Conference partners with China Game Developers Conference

The online-focused Login Conference has partnered with the China Games Developmers Conference.

"China is already a critical market to online game developers and the related industry, with great opportunities now and enormous growth potential for the future," said Cynthia Freese, executive director and CEO of Login’s organiser Evergreen Events.

Working with the Login team, CGDC’s Howell Expo hope the partnership will enhance the connections between the Chinese online game industry and its western counterparts. This will be achieved through marketing, promotion and international business development opportunities between both events.

The CGDC secretary general of the organising committee Mr. Zhihai Han explained: "The purpose for entering the strategic partnership with the LOGIN Conference in the US is to strength the communication channel between the US-based companies and Chinese companies. Howell would like to share our resource in China’s game industry and our experience in event management together with our partners worldwide in order to promote the development of technology in game industry.

“We welcome speakers and audience brought to CGDC by our partner in the US and we are also happy to recommend Chinese speakers and attract Chinese audience to attend the Login Conference as well."

CGDC provides the biggest industry event for developers in Asia, while Login 2009 offers attendees a US event focused on the online gaming industry.

[UPDATE: In an earlier version of this article we wrote that Login 2009 had partnered with GDC China, which it hasn’t – it has partnered with the China Game Developers Conference, an event separate from GDC or Think Services. We apologise for any confusion caused.]
