The PC Gaming Alliance has lost two of its biggest founding members, Nvidia and Microsoft, according to reports.
The Alliance, which formed in 2008 to help promote gaming on the PC platform, has not officially explained why the two groups departed.
The group’s president, Matt Ployhar, has insisted that losing Nvidia and Microsoft will not make a significant impact, according to a Big Download report.
Ployhar, writing elsewhere on a blog, said the Alliance will “create a more technical based advisory board that you’ll all be hearing more about very soon”.
“We’re doing this to flesh out the PCGA’s technical expertise while simultaneously addressing perceived gaps in membership.”
