US firm also claims impressive adoption stats among developers, as launches open beta for push notifications service

Mobile engagement tool PlayHaven serving over 20,000 games

PlayHaven, the business engine for mobile games, is now serving more than 20,000 games, which the company claims is a fourfold increase in one year.

The US firm’s engagement and monetisation middleware is behind this growth, which has now been adopted by over 10,000 developers.

“PlayHaven is building a comprehensive set of intelligent tools that developers can use to manage a successful business,” said Andy Yang, CEO of PlayHaven.

“We do this by getting in the trenches with developers every day – learning what happens in their games, providing helpful insights, and crafting creative solutions that help them solve their problems.”

PlayHaven said its platform now covers more than 800 million unique users, which it calculates as an increase of 44 per cent since Q2, and 176 million monthly active users, a 38 per cent increase since Q2.

In July, PlayHaven announced the launch of Push Notifications in private beta. The private beta has more than 500 developers participating, including game studios such as Glu Games, PikPok, Magmic, Ruby Seven Studios and Playnomi.

PlayHaven Push Notifications are now available to all developers in open beta. Those interested can find sign up for the beta here.
