More content has been confirmed for next month's Develop Live conference, with academia, Scottish indies and cyberpsychology now thrown into the mix.

Develop Live is the first conference curated and organised by the editorial team behind Develop. It will be held at The Traverse Theatre in Edinburgh, Scotland on Thursday, October 2nd.

Newly confirmed speakers include cyberpsychologist Berni Good and Preloaded's Katie Goode, who will offering tips on designing games for virtual reality. Scottish Game Network's Brian Baglow will also be speaking in a session titled 'Stop making video games'.

Glasgow Caledonian University's Romana Ramzan will be hosting a panel on user research methods and their role in the industry. She will be joined by Player Research's Graham McAllister and Kumotion's Steve Stopps.

Meanwhile, Microsoft will be chairing a panel interview with some of the Scottish indie studios that were among the winners of its Power Up: The Beautiful Game competition.

But that's not all. More sessions are still to be confirmed in the next week, so watch this space.

The new speakers join a line-up that already includes British crime author Christopher Brookmyre, Amazon's developer evangelist Jesse Freeman, Dimensional Imaging, Delta DNA, Newcastle University and more.
