Panel game show to run alongside Develop in Brighton conference

Never Mind the Polygons returns

Never Mind the Polygons, the panel quiz show-format discussion of contemporary game development issues, is returning to run alongside the Develop Conference.

Taking place in Conference Room 5 of the Hilton Metropole hotel in Brighton, the ‘topical, informative, intelligence, knowledgeable but most importantly great fun’ event will see 2K Boston’s art director Nate Wells, Epic’s Mark Rein, ex-Edge editor Margaret Robertson, TT Games’ Jonathan Smith, GameCity’s Iain Simons and Pixel-Lab’s Toby Barnes will chew the fat with the audience framed around a hard-fought quiz.

Previous contestant Nick Burton said of the event: “Never Mind The Polygons is not only a useful discussion forum covering many aspects of our industry we might not normally talk about, it’s also immensely entertaining. The pop quiz format works really well and keeps the panel on track, even if it does cause the odd argument but that’s all part of the fun."

Never Mind The Polygons runs from 6:30 – 7:30pm on Wednesday July 30th, and is organised by Pixel-Lab and sponsored by Autodesk, bluegfx and Rare. For more information, check out the official website.
