London Games Conference already backed by format-holders and others

New event to examine digital distribution

Sony, Nintendo, Microsoft, big name publishers, leading edge developers and pioneers of digital distribution will all form part of a wide-ranging programme at the first ever London Games Conference on Tuesday, October 27th.

Taking place at BAFTA and sub-titled Digital Distribution and the Future of the European Games Market, LGC will be the biggest standalone UK event dedicated to the issue that is currently top of the industry’s agenda.

The event is part of the London Games Festival, and already has backing of UK industry body ELSPA.

Director general Michael Rawlinson said: “Digital distribution is one of the major challenges facing all sectors of the business today and the London Games Conference will be a vital forum for discussion and information on this crucial topic.

London Games Conference starts at 4:30pm and will be followed by an evening of networking, dinner and drinks. A snapshot of the confirmed speakers and content can be found below.

Tickets are £229 – however an early bird rate of £199 is available until the end of this week, September 18th. There are also discounts for ELSPA  and Tiga members.
