Adult online games portal Nutaku is going to launch a crowdfunding website called Kimochi Red Light with the aim of letting developers of adult-orientated games raise cash

Montreal-based Nutaku have said that by launching Kimochi Red Light they're hoping to take away some of the stigma that's attached to making games about sex, but also to make it easier for developers to get started in the business of making X-rated titles.

Nutaku have promised that, outside of payment charges, 100 per cent of the money raised from crowdfunding will go to the campaigning developers

“Kimochi Red Light is going to carve a new path for artists and game developers to create content as part of the rapidly emerging mature gaming market,” said Mia Mason, Nutaku's spokesperson, in a statement. “Not only that but this platform is unlike any other because it’s uncensored and uncompromising, just how art should be. We’re thrilled to act as a non-profit catalyst for the industry and the gaming community.”

The official launch has campaigns from developers in Ghana, the United Kingdom and Montreal. Nutaku.net is an online games portal featuring X-rated games from around the world. It has 22m visitors per month.
