The Programme provides funding to PHD students researching topics that will lead to major advances in graphics. Those awarded a place recieve funding and are about to conduct their work with access to Nvidia products and technology.
Dr. David Kirk, chief scientist at NVIDIA said: "The Fellowship Programme is designed to stimulate and support excellence in graphics and computing research in universities worldwide and to promote communication between Nvidia's R&D team and outstanding students and professors."
Since its inception in 2002 the programme has awarded over one million dollars in funding to assist 45 PhD students with their research.
