Reports have surfaced that 30 developers have been laid off at End of Nations developer Petroglyph.
The news follows the delay of the public beta and refunds being issued to customers who had pre-ordered the game.
While some suggested this meant the game had been cancelled, publisher Trion worlds said on Facebook that End of Nations is still very much in the works, and development has been relocated to its in-house San Diego studio.
"Layoffs at Petroglyph. Looking like I'll be Leaving Las Vegas," he said after comenting that his winter break had been "extended indefinitely."
While the layoffs are not confirmed, it seems highly likely that Petroglyph has chosen to work on its remaining project with a thinned out staff.
