Aardvark Swift has announced the winners of this years Search for a Star 2015 talent drive.

The victor in the main competition is Bristol University student Sam Parras (above right), who had the highest score in the first round C++ coding test and came second in the second round Unity games project with his title Deady Teddy.

His prize is multiple job opportunities at Search for a Star’s partner studios, which include Microsoft, Unity, Sumo Digital, Boss Alien, Exient and more. Parras is also the first person to win both of Aardvark Swift’s competitions, having won Rising Star in 2014.

This year’s Rising Star winner is Yan Knoop from The Netherlands’ NHTV Breda University of Applied Sciences. He is the first winner from outside the UK, and receives an internship with Sumo Digital, which sponsored the competition.

Search for a Star and Rising Star are part of Aardvark Swift’s Grads in Games initiative, which is designed to find and support the most promising new developers in their final year of university.
