Sega signs Stainless for Happy Tree Friends game
Sega will be heading into the PC and Xbox digital distribution space using the cult Happy Tree Friends brand which it has licenced from Mondo Media - with development duties handled by Stainless games.
Stainless has already worked on a number of XBLA games including CrystalQuest and Novadrome. It's also working on remaking a number of Atari retro games for the platform.
"Sega is a perfect partner for us because of their rich tradition of creating compelling, character-based games, and true to form they're developing a truly original game that we think our fans will love," said Kenn Navarro, the creator of Happy Tree Friends.
