Event organisers gearing up for second annual meeting on American East Coast

Speakers announced for Triangle Game Conference

The Triangle Game Conference, running April 7-8 in Raleigh, North Carolina, has announced its line up of speakers for the 2010 event.

Taking place at the Raleigh Convention Center and Marriott City Center, TGC 2010 will also include a career lounge where attendees can meet with local industry professionals.

Five major subject will be discussed at this year’s event, with a specific list of speakers talking on each.

Hazardous Software’s Chris Hazard, Seasame Workshop’s Ann Thai, Insomniac Games’ Jim Van Verth and Atomic Games’ Patrick Seabring will be speaking on game development.

The subject of engines and middleware will be discussed by Emergent’s Dan Amerson and Jeremiah Washburn, TouchCentric’s Rob Terrell and Epic Games’ John Farnsworth.

Immersive learning will be spoken on by ARI’s Richard Kristoff, Virtual Heroes’ Jerry Heneghan, IBM’s Michael Rowe and Piedmont Triad Partnership’s Margaret Collins.

Digital-Roar Studios’ John Lyons, Republic of Fun’s Mike Rasmussen, Perimeter Partners’ Jason Della Rocca and Emergent’s John Austin will be speaking on the games business.

Finally, games and the media talks will be given by Capstrat’s Karen Albritton, Neogence’s Robert Rice, Bohle Company’s Susan Bohle and Clear Image’s Dave Murray.
