Game Connection has announced their list of speakers for this year’s American event.
Game Connection America will take place in San Francisco March 5-7 (the same week as GDC) at the Francis Drake Hotel, and boasts "matchmaking events between service providers, developers, publishers and distributors; network building and business enhancement."
Sessions include talks by CEOs from Wargaming, Insomniac Games, Telltale Games, Fishlabs Entertainment, and others.
Topics include “The Future of Mobile and Social Games”, “How to Survive as an Independent Developer in Retail, Console, PC Segment”, "Business models in games – current trends and predictions", and "Free To Play MMO Games – that’s the future".
Two masterclasses have also been announced: “GPU Programming”, led by Wolfgang Engel, CTO and Co-Founder of Confetti Special Effects, Inc. and “Multi-core and Multi-threading design optimizations patterns”, led by Mike Acton, Engine Director at Insomniac Games.
The second edition of the Game Industry Support Day is scheduled for March 6th from 2-5pm.
