New Swedish game accelerator Stugan is now accepting applications from developers around the world.

The programme is open to up-and-coming individuals and small teams working on any platform and in any genre. Those interested must submit a 90 second video presenting the team and their game idea, as well as a description of themselves, title and their ambitions.

20 developers will be selected to spend eight weeks on an all-expenses stay in Falun, Sweden, where they will be supported and mentored as they create their games.

Participants will retain all the rights to their IP. At the end of the project however, they will have the chance to present their work to publishers, sponsors and investors.

The application process begins today and will end on March 31st. Successful participants will be chosen by the end of April.

Stugan is being led by Rovio Stockholm GM Oskar Burman, former King game guru Tommy Palm, Avalanche Studios creative director Christofer Sundberg and a number of other developers.
