QA and localisation firm named HTC Connect authorised testing facility

Testronic Labs secures HTC Test Centre deal

QA and localisation specialist Testronic Labs has been selected by phone giant HTC to stand as an authorised testing centre as part of the HTC Connect initiative.

The HTC Connect program was established to provide consumer electronics manufacturers the opportunity with a way build an improved sound and visual standard when connecting HTC devices with their consumer electronics.

“At Testronic, we are fully engaged in supporting the evolution of the consumer experience, as it changes and expands," said Johan Craeybeckx, CTO of Testronic. "Smartphones are changing the way end-users experience entertainment content, and they can now enjoy rich-media content in almost any environment. We are delighted to work with our colleagues at HTC in verifying that high levels of connectivity standards are being met with their products.”

The deal will see successfully tested consumer electronics from manufacturers taking part in HTC Connect become eligible to display the HTC Connect logo, an indicator of quality for consumers.

Testronic, a prolific QA and localisation outfit in the games business, is the first testing centre in Europe to become certified by HTC for this program. It will handle the HTC for from its Belgian facility.
