This War of Mine recoups dev costs in two days

11 Bit Studios’ survival game This War of Mine recouped its development costs in just two days of release.

Players from 92 different countries bought the game, which focuses on civilians during wartime rather than following the story of the military.

A third of sales came from Europe, with the title most popular in Russia, Germany and the UK. Exact sales figures were not provided.

Consumers have reacted well on Steam by posting 2,302 positive reviews to date, and just 89 negative reviews.
