Paul Ross leaves Burnout developer after 18 years

Three Fields hires Criterion CTO

Three Fields Entertainment, the new studio set up by Alex Ward and Fiona Sperry, has hired former Criterion chief technology officer Paul Ross.

Ross has been appointed in a similar role as CTO at the studio after 18 years at Burnout and Need for Speed developer Criterion.

According to the Three Fields Twitter account, the company is now comprised wholly of ex-Criterion staff. The studio houses ten full-time staff and is looking to further expand its operations.

Two games are currently in development at the studio, with plans to release them both in early 2015.

Alex Ward recently wrote about Three Fields’ new development philosophy, which you can read here.
