Trinigy has launched the latest major version of its Vision Engine game middleware.
Several modules of the engine have been replaced, including a complete rewrite of the core geometry pipeline architected specifically for the PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, offering fast and efficient rendering of large scenes. The vForge scene editor has also been updated with a new Prefab system, a new terrain editor, a better script debugger and improved instancing.
In addition, new middleware bindings, an optional audio solution and support for the Bullet physics engine, along with platform-specific optimisations.
