Germany-based 3D engine provider Trinigy has inked seven new Vision Engine licensing deals in Korea, China and Vietnam with Neowiz, Nano Play, SmileGate, Aurogon Games and Nsid Globaland FPTOnline.
Nsid Global has licensed the engine for a new, unnamed martial arts MMO. Neowiz licensed the Vision Engine for upcoming MMO third-person shooter Dizzel, and is re-licensing for two new, undisclosed MMO titles.
The final licensees are My New Children, a subsidiary of Korean developer SmileGate, China’s Aurogon Games, and Vietnam’s FPT Online. Details on specific titles for these studios have not been released.
“We’ve worked with a few game engine technologies in the past, but never with one that gives us the freedom of the Vision Engine,” said Aurogon Games chief programmer Ricky Don.
“Trinigy’s game engine is more versatile, extendable and powerful than any other game engine technology we’ve used, allowing us to simplify our workflow, integrate the technology with our own tools pipeline and speed the overall development of our games.”
Trinigy general manager Felix Roeken said that he was extremely excited about the new spate of deals.
“As always, we continue to focus our efforts on providing flexible, stable and high-performance game engine technology as well as incredibly responsive service,” he said.
“This has proven to be a winning combination not only in Korea, but throughout the Asian and global game development markets.”
