Ubisoft has outlined some precursory details about the Wii U Assassin’s Creed IP entry ahead of an official reveal.
It was announced at an E3 roundtable that the new game is being developed by the company’s Quebec studio, though it is not yet known if it will be a standalone title of a port of an existing game.
Details of development methods were given however, with a Ubisoft spokesperson stating that the game will be making use of assets from existing PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 Assassin’s Creed games.
Gameplay methods were also described, the Wii U controller touchscreen displaying in-game maps and menus while instead of interrupting the game proper on a TV monitor.
