Ubisoft opens Newcastle customer service centre

Assassin’s Creed firm Ubisoft has opened a new facility in Newcastle-upon-Tyne dedicated to supporting and interacting with its players.

The new Consumer Relationship Centre will be handle all of Ubisoft’s interactions with gamers across Europe, the Middle East and Asia, with its team comprised of a mix of consumer support experts and community managers.

The initial team is made up of 75 members, but Ubisoft plans to extend this to 100 by the end of the year, then more than 200 in the coming years.

You can find details on the available positions at Ubisoft’s careers page.

“Opening the Consumer Relationship Centre is a key step in better knowing our players and providing them with comprehensive service and support,” said consumer relationship director Stephane Catherine.

“Ubisoft is embracing the ‘games as a service’ model, and having both the community managers and support teams working together to keep our communities continuously engaged and happy with their favourite brands and games is the goal.”
