Newcastle-based studio Ubisoft Reflections has appointed Pauline Jacquey as its new managing director.

Jacquey has worked at the publisher since 1997, working across a range of platforms on titles such as Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter and the mobile versions of Assassin’s Creed and Prince of Persia.

Her previous roles within the company include managing director at Ubisoft India, where she is credited with turning the 250-staffed studio to focus on digital gaming. Jacquey has also worked at Ubisoft Shanghai, Montreal and Paris over the last 16 years.

Ubisoft Reflections has previously worked on titles such as Driver: San Francisco, released in 2011, Just Dance 4 and Far Cry 3. The developer is also currently collaborating on open-world title Watch Dogs and a number of soon to be announced projects.

General manager Giselle Stewart had been heading up the developer for just over a year after previous studio manager Gareth Edmonson left the company in November 2011.

Putting Reflections back into the spotlight

Once renowned as the creator of Driver, Reflections subsequently faded from prominence, handing the limelight to its sibling Ubisoft studios. With the success of Grow Home and The Division, the developer has returned to reclaim its fame
