The chief creative director of Electronic Arts, Richard Hilleman, will deliver a keynote speech at the upcoming Unite Conference in San Francisco.
Unite is the annual conference hosted by development platform group Unity Technologies, with this year’s event set to take place from October 27-30.
With the Unity platform itself available for PC, Mac, Wii and iPhone, Hilleman’s keynote address will be apt. The veteran game exec will talk about the expanded game audience, and how disruptive technologies are alluring the masses of “non-gamers”.
Nicholas Francis, Unity’s Chief Creative Officer, said it fantastic that Unity could attract people of Hilleman’s calibre.
“With Electronic Arts getting more involved in web-based games, [Hilleman] is one of the people who have a great overview of how the landscape looks and what new opportunities there are.”
More information on the event can be found on the Unite website.
