Valve has approved 100 new games from its Steam Greenlight program.

The move to approve such a large number of titles is part of plans to stress-test its developer tools and publishing system.

Valve stated it would likely not greenlight this many games at once again in future, but it may begin to increase the output if it proves successful.

Games to be released on the digital distribution platform include Mutant Mudds, Son of Nor, Call of Cthulhu: The Wasted Land, Craft The World and Paranautical Activity.

The latest batch brings total approvals through Steam Greenlight to 260.
