Crash Bandicoot, Uncharted and Last of Us developer holding an art exhibition next month

VIDEO: Celebrate 30 years of Naughty Dog

US-based studio Naughty Dog turns 30 this month, and is celebrating with both an art exhibition and an anniversary video.

The developer began life in 1984 as two-man team JAM Software, changing its name to Naughty Dog Software five years later. The studio’s headcount now stands at more than 200 people.

Naughty Dog is best known for PlayStation blockbusters The Last of Us and the Uncharted series, as well as earlier franchises Crash Bandicoot and Jak & Daxter.

The team is putting together a 30th anniversary documentary, exploring the history of Naughty Dog – a teaser of which can be viewed below.

Meanwhile, an art exhibition will be held at the Gallery Nucleus in Los Angeles, according to the official PlayStation blog. There are also plans to bring the exhibition to the Netherlands at a later date.

The full length anniversary video will be shown at the gallery between October 4th and 12th, before being uploaded online later in the month.

In the meantime, take a look at the preview:
