The concert will take place at the Nob Hill Masonic Auditorium on March 9th. VGL is music event featuring many of the well known games compositions from games and mixes music performances with video footage, synchronized lighting, solo performers, electronic percussionists, and interactive segments. Music from Mario, Zelda and Halo amongst many others play a major part.

The series of VGL concerts has toured the world, including a recent event in London as part of the UK capital's recent games festival. The concert also has performances in Canada and New Zealand booked for January and February respectively. VGL also closed the show at last year's GDC.

The Game Developer Conference runs from March 5th to March 9th at the San Francisco Moscone Center.
