Peace One Day charity scheme seeks donations from game community

Watch Peace Games live here from 10am on Saturday

Playmob’s Peace Games initiative begins tomorrow, and you can watch the live stream right here.

The event is part of the global Peace One Day initiative, a not-for-profit charity that has organised a worldwide event of the same name to take place on September 21st to support and promote world peace.

This year Playmob has called on developers to run their own campaigns as part of the event, who will be supporting charities in areas such as education, food or health.

The live stream will include a number of games, interviews and prize giveaways, such as the chance to win a PS3 and Vita, while encouraging generous donations from the game community.

Companies joining in and supporting the event include Soshi Games, Kobojo, Playdemic, Sony, Capcom, Jagex, Mediatonic, Tiga and Develop.

Peace Games Live will be broadcast from UKIE’s London office and streamed globally.

The stream will begin from 10am BST on Saturday, September 21st. You can watch the full stream below.

For more information on the event, you can view our feature here, or visit the official website.
