A five-day course in interactive narrative is on offer for aspiring and professional games writers who want to perfect their craft.
The workshop “will explore the practicalities of storytelling in everything from card games to console games”, the event’s organiser has said.
The course will be tutored by two professional games writers, Naomi Alderman and David Varela, with a an appearance from the award-winning writer Rhianna Pratchett.
Those interested will have to clear their diaries from January 30th until February 4th. The course takes place at Hepstonstall in West Yorkshire.
"Game writing is the latest cresting wave of the narrative world and this course will ensure that you have the knowledge to ride it," Pratchett said.
