Xsolla Capital and Epic Games have formed a partnership to help developers using Unreal Engine 4 to bring their games to market.

The investment fund, which has over $50 million purely for video games has struck this deal with a 'mutual goal is to foster success for independent developers who want to self-publish their visionary games.'

The deal will see developer helped with finance and marketing for their titles as well as UE4 licensing costs, along with Xsolla e-commerce payment and fraud prevention solutions.

Mike Gamble, European territory manager at Epic Games, said, “now is the perfect time for Xsolla to partner with our team to bring outstanding independent games to market. Since taking Unreal Engine 4 free two years ago, we’ve seen an enormous rise in high-quality titles made by small teams, and Xsolla is able to share in that success by allowing developers to maintain creative control while receiving many of the benefits a traditional publishing arrangement would provide.”
