Zindagi Games, the studio behind Crazy Kitchen, Yummy Gummy and a series of PlayStation Move titles, has been purchased by Zynga.

The maker of motion-controlled PS3 efforts Sports Champions and Medieval Moves: Deadmund's Quest, as well as several free-to-play match-three games, was snapped up for an undisclosed amount of money, Zynga’s latest financials announced.

The quarterly results also revealed the outcome of the whole of 2015, with Zynga’s in-game payments revenue creep to one per cent of growth over the year versus 2014.

Mobile bookings alone grew 13 per cent, with the platform now accounting for three-quarters (73 per cent) of Zynga’s total.

Counter-balancing this was a major decline in web, as daily active users more than halved, falling by 53 per cent, and payments revenue dropped by a third (32 per cent).

Annual revenue was up to $765 million compared to $690 million the previous year, with losses almost halving to $117 million from $226 million.

2016 will see Zynga release at least ten new games, including Zindagi’s Crazy Cake Swap.
