Develop’s 2012 Audio Special starts today

This morning Develop kicks off a special focus on game audio, which will see eight articles published over the coming days; each addressing a different area of sound design and the associated disciplines.

Starting today with a look at how Wave and Cubic motion are pioneering a new way to extract quality facial animation data from a normal VO session, the special will also see Audiokinetic, FMOD, Pit Stop Productions, Side, Soundrangers, RAD Game Tools and AudioGaming tackle a wealth of issues from sound design in the Mass Effect Universe and the future of generative audio to the benefits of game-specific sound-libraries and the logistics of recording the voice work for a vast MMO or RPG.

Check back in our features section every day for a new addition to the focus, which runs until Tuesday, June 7th.
